Adam P. Patterson, DVM, DACVD
Dr. Adam P. Patterson received his Bachelor’s of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University in 1998 and 2001, respectively. During his senior year of veterinary school, Dr. Patterson developed a deep interest in animal skin diseases. In pursuit of this new interest, he participated in several externships in Florida, Kentucky, Colorado, and California specifically working alongside board-certified veterinary dermatologists. After graduation in 2001 he spent a year at The University of Tennessee in a small animal rotating internship where he confirmed his decision to specialize in dermatology. University of Illinois in 2005 where he taught didactic and clinical dermatology to veterinary students, spoke at local, state, and national meetings, as well as wrote several articles for journals and textbooks. He became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) after passing the ACVD Certifying Examination in 2005. Dr. Patterson is trained in all aspects of veterinary dermatology, but is especially interested in allergy, infectious diseases, and autoimmune dermatoses. He joined CVDA in September 2005. |

Toni Dennis, RVT
Toni Dennis received her Associates in Applied Sciences in Veterinary Technology from Community Colleges of Baltimore County – Essex Campus in 2001. She successfully passed the state and national board examinations for veterinary technicians one month after receiving her degree. After passing these examinations she became a Registered Veterinary Technician. Toni has been working in general practice since 1999, improving her skills as a veterinary technician. She has attended many local, state and national meetings. In late September 2005, she decided to pursue a career in specialty veterinary medicine. We are happy she became a team member of CVDA in October 2005. |

CVRC
Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC, www.cvrc.com) is comprised of 7 different practices many of which are located at both the Towson and Annapolis offices. Chesapeake Veterinary Dermatology Associates (CVDA), Chesapeake Veterinary Cardiology Associates (CVCA), Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Surgery (CVRS), Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine (AVIM), Animal Dental Center (ADC), Animal Eye Care Associates (AECA), and Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Clinic (AAVEC) are all dedicated to provide exceptional veterinary medical care to pets of the Greater Chesapeake region. |
